This 10th edition will follow the original project of the MASA : to play a key role in the cultural development of African performing arts.

This year, 64 creative companies from Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, America and the Pacific region have been shortlisted. 7 disciplines from the performing arts will be represented : music, dance, theater, tale-telling, comedy stand up, street art and slam poetry.

It is an opportunity for cultural operators and for the public to get in touch with the diversity of performing arts, and with contemporary art scenes from the different continents.

The theme for this edition “Which business models for African performing arts ?” will raise the question of a sustainable financing for culture in Africa.
