The action of Africalia as a development actor is in line with international initiatives and is based on reference texts. Africalia builds its programme on the following framework, in particular :
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) : through the role of cultural diversity and the contribution of culture to education policies (Target 4.7) ; Target 8.3 recognises the importance to formulate economic development policies that include creativity and innovation activities ; Target 11.4 recognises the importance of safeguarding cultural assets and natural resources in environmental and urban development policies ; Target 12b advocates for sustainable production and consumption patterns that take into account local culture.
