Short(s) of Africa 3

cover_dvd_Afrique-tous-courts3

The third edition of the series Short(s) of Africa pays once again tribute to short film directors. Shorts have become an ever more important feature at African festivals in the French as well as English speaking countries. Our selection builds on some of these festivals.

In the same vein of the hybrid genres that are emerging thanks to the democratisation of equipment, the selection appends animated films to fiction and documentaries. As always, the narratives, contexts, themes and characters presented show a great diversity and these thirteen films take us through the entire continent. This compilation puts forward the abundance of creativity and the narrative talent unique to African short film authors. That is also the commitment of the series Short(s) of Africa.
