The Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur (FIFF) has always set out to be professional, friendly, creative and unifying. It is a place of learning, sharing, reflecting and understanding. Each year, the FIFF presents a selection of more than 140 films of all kinds : short and feature films, animated movies, fictions and documentaries. The Festival also organises numerous workshops and meetings gathering professionals shaping tomorrow’s Francophone cinema. Through the FIFF Campus, the festival also contributes to the education of young people, offering activities and educational sessions throughout the year for children and young people aged 3 to 25 years.

As part of the partnership with Africalia and its Global Citizenship Education programme, FIFF would like in the long run to welcome more African film professionals to participate in its professional activities, as well as to invite directors to come and present their films at the Caravane du court. In addition, FIFF and Africalia wish to work through the Campus activities on a ‘learning through images’ project which uses films produced in Africa to make young people more aware of different realities.
