BD Kin Label, located in Kinshasa, produces comic strips. They publish the magazines Kin Label and Amazon BD several times a year. The content of Amazon BD is only carried out by women.

In order to improve the dissemination and distribution of their work, Africalia has supported the publication of two comic books. For the occasion, the cartoonists of Kin Label attended workshops led by Belgian professionals within the sector. The first album « Congo 50 » was released during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the country’s independence. The publication was a resounding success. The second volume, « Paul Panda Farnana, une vie oubliée » is scheduled to be published by the end of 2014.

Programme 2012-2014 : Africalia supports efforts to enhance management of networking, administrative and financial aspects ; training in new ICTs, scriptwriting and drawing ; magazine printing and album editing.
