This program will develop their skills in dance. It will not only give young artists exposure to professional platforms, but also equip them with knowledge and skills that will contribute to economic sustainability of their organisations. This program will be in the form of a series of workshops that will be facilitated by recognised dance teachers and choreographers.
The CDT is building capacity both structurally and sustainably, in about forty young contemporary dance companies, mostly in less obvious peri-urban or rural regions.
Programme 2015-2016 : Africalia supports core staff costs, training activities and cultural decentralisation.
