Presentation of the director
Abdoulaye Diallo is a Burkinabé born in Côte d’Ivoire. He studied art history, but started his carrière as a teacher before working as a producer for the radio. In his capacity as a cultural organizer, he is the current President of the “Jazz à Ouaga” association and a member of the board of directors of the “Salia ni Seydou” dance company. Since 1998, Abdoulaye Diallo has managed the Norbert Zongo National Press Centre. He is also a webmaster, running several websites including a press portal on the media in Burkina. In 1999, he conjointed with some friends to establish the Semfilms organisation in order to promote human rights through audiovisual media.
