Longstanding partner of FESPACO, Africalia supports the festival in promoting African cinema. During this 24th edition, which runs from 28/02 to 7/03 in Ouagadougou, Africalia has the pleasure to invite you to the following activities :
4 MARCH 2015 - AFRICALIA EVENT
- 4:30PM : Africalia press conference at the CNA Village located at the Maquis du Festival (Cité An III, near the Neerwaya cinema). During the conference Africalia presents its new Multiannual Programme for 2015-2016.
- 6:30PM : Screening of the documentary Congo, un médecin pour sauver les femmes by Senegalese film director Angèle Diabang. You can download here the press release of the film (in French).

You will also have the opportunity to vote, during the full course of FESPACO and in ballot boxes all around the city, and choose the first film that will be screened at the opening of Guimbi.
6 MARCH 2015, 8:30AM - MASTERCLASS ISIS-AFRICALIA
Africalia joins its longstanding partner, the ISIS-SE (Institute of Image and Sound) to present a masterclass on the theme of film directing.
EXCHANGES BETWEEN PROFESSIONALS
As part of its Multiannual Programme, Africalia encourages exchanges between professional partners. Michel-Ange Nzojibwami, vice-chairman, and Eloge Nzeyimana, executive secretary of the Collectif des Producteurs pour le Développement de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinéma au Burundi (Producers’ Collective for the Development of Audiovisual Media and Film in Burundi - COPRODAC) will be attending Fespaco from February 28 to March 8.
