Isabelle Kouraogo had a childhood fascination for cinema and the world of technologies. Today she dreams about becoming a film director and open up people’s mind on alternative ways to perceive the world, to raise awareness on sensitive topics. After a brief career in television, this young Ivorian woman made the choice to turn to film studies and integrated the film school of Marrakech.

Thanks to her motivation and her talent, she was selected to participate in the 32nd edition of the Festival International du Film Francophone (FIFF) – an event held annually in the city of Namur – as a member of the Émile Cantillon Jury composed of film students from the French speaking world. This invitation also included the participation in “La Manufacture” : a two-day pedagogical project for the film students articulated around discussions, lectures and networking.

As a young film student the participation in this jury is a challenging opportunity, and the occasion to compare and learn from various points of view based on different stories, backgrounds and cultures.
